A promotion can be applied as a percentage % of the service base price, or as a fixed amount to subtract.

Discount Value

The value of the promotion.

Example: 20% off, if the discount type is percentage, 20$ off if fixed.

Promotion period

The period during which the promotion is active (i.e. it can be used).
